Program Actions

This program has two major actions for Climate Change & the Environment.

Firstly, Carbonza will offset your room night with international standard verified and certified carbon credits. To learn how we do this click here.

Second, Carbonza will contribute on your behalf to the ORRCA Marine Mammal Human Impact Fund.

ORRCA is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. They are the only licensed NGO authorized to attend marine mammal incidents. They provide vital services; 24/7 Marine Mammal Rescue Hotline, on the ground trained rescue members and equipment, support assistance to the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service.

Over the past few years rescue incidents have been climbing rapidly as humans encroach into both in water and out of water habitat and feeding grounds. Marine mammals are also showing the signs of climate change impact with sea temperature rise and Antarctic feeding ground disruption. To learn more about ORRCA click here.
